Hunslet were one of the founder members of the Northern Union. Since that time the club has known it's ups and downs, from being the first club to win all four trophies in one season to selling their ground and almost going out of existence in the 1970's. More recently the club has won promotion from the Second Division, appeared at Wembley and won the Northern Ford Premiership Grand Final.
